The Wedding Tailoring Journey

Your wedding journey begins at our flagship Lime Street store, in the heart of the City of London. Booking an appointment ensures you have dedicated one-to-one time with a tailoring consultant in a private, relaxed space. We encourage you to bring your partner, best man, or family along to enjoy a glass of Champagne at the bar and share in the experience. Every stage is tailored to you and the significance of your day.
Initial Consultation
At your first appointment, you’ll meet your dedicated tailor to discuss your wedding plans, the setting, season, and style you envision. Together, you will browse an extensive selection of the world’s most luxurious fabrics from mills such as Loro Piana and Dormeuil. Every element is considered: cloth, lining, lapel shape, buttons, pocket styles, embroidery, and even the finishing details that will make your wedding suit truly unique.
Pattern Drafting & Cutting
For a bespoke wedding suit, a completely new paper pattern is created just for you. Your tailor hand-cuts the fabric and canvas based on your exact measurements, stance, and posture. This ensures your suit is shaped around your natural form, offering comfort, elegance, and precision for the day itself and beyond.
Baste Fitting (Full Bespoke Only)
For full bespoke suits, a baste fitting is arranged 4–8 weeks after your consultation. The garment is partially assembled, showing visible stitching and canvas. At this stage, your tailor analyses the drape, balance, and fit in meticulous detail. The baste fitting is one of the hallmarks of bespoke tailoring, offering accuracy that guarantees your suit will feel effortless when it matters most.
Refinements & Further Fittings
After the baste fitting, your garment is deconstructed and rebuilt, with adjustments incorporated to refine the silhouette and styling. Additional fittings may follow, ensuring every detail — from the way your lapels roll to the length of your trousers, is perfected for your wedding day.
Final Fitting & Completion
The final fitting marks the completion of your wedding suit. Fully finished, with hand-stitched buttonholes, linings, and all the chosen details in place, this is the moment when your suit becomes entirely yours.
