McCann Bespoke are thrilled to announce that we have agreed a deal with Olivier Meylan to become our official watch partner. Olivier Meylan create limited edition Swiss heritage timepieces. For their founder, David Meylan, watch making is in his DNA. Not only did David reside in Switzerland for much of his childhood, his Grandfather, Alfred studied the art of watch making in the Vallée de Joux, starting with an apprenticeship at Jaeger-LeCoultre and later being approached by Smiths in the UK.
“As a child my father would take me to visit all of the leading manufactures of luxury watches in the Vallée de Joux. This was the spark that ignited my life-long fascination and passion for watches. Watches have always been in my blood. The Meylans have married into the Audemars, LeCoultre and Piguet families, a family connection first established in 1620. That legacy has survived to this day and became even more poignant when my son, Olivier, was born in 2016. His arrival fuelled my desire to launch my own watch brand, named after him and celebrate the history we both share.”
When talking about the partnership with McCann Bespoke, David said “We take pride in finding exclusive locations to showcase our brand around the world, with our aim to partner with well suited brands, stores and hotels sharing the same level of clientele.
