The word denim is actually ‘de Nîmes’, meaning ‘from Nîmes’, a city in Southern France and the fabric has been in use for over 500 years. However, it was Levi Strauss in 1851 who invented our modern jeans and in doing so created an enduring classic that has never gone out of style. Our authentic blue denim jeans have a slight stretch for comfort and movement and a rear yoke for an improved fit. Perfect wear for a family day, a bit of light home improvement or a dress down Friday.
